Fleece is obtained by using Shears on a Domestic Sheep or dead sheep. It is used for crafting Wool Clothes and medical supplies. Using a Drop Spindle on fleece will create Ball of Thread

Fleece can also be added to a red Wool Hat to craft a Santa Hat
